The Bees of War

In a morbidly hilarious comment on our modern world, it may well be the honey bees aren’t simply “disappearing.” They instead might be undergoing (uncontrolled) genetic modification under the aegis of DARPA/DHS. You know, all in the service of the perpetual war on terror.

Pretty much just fuck Bush the Lessor for starting this nonsense and Obama for continuing it.

“Rather than being used simply as weapons of war, bees have become involved in the search for what is beyond the reach of human senses. The behavior and physiology of bees have become instrumental in extending the capacity of the human senses. Bees have become zoosensors. The deployment of bees, or what military scientists call ‘six-legged soldiers,’ has resulted in new and intimate relationships. Experts have inscribed economic and military designs into the honeybee’s nervous system, migration patterns, and community relations. There is a new bee managerialism. The capacities of bees for detection and intelligence gathering have been harnessed. As Homeland Security states, they are ‘deploying bees as efficient and effective homeland security detective devices.'”

Cyberdyne Systems Unveils Its Latest Robot

The PETMAN robot was developed by Boston Dynamics with funding from the DoD CBD program. It is used to test the performance of protective clothing designed for hazardous environments. The video shows initial testing in a chemical protection suit and gas mask. PETMAN has sensors embedded in its skin that detect any chemicals leaking through the suit. The skin also maintains a micro-climate inside the clothing by sweating and regulating temperature. Partners in developing PETMAN were MRIGlobal, Measurement Technology Northwest, Smith Carter, CUH2A, and HHI.

Your Own Personal Drone

Pretty soon you won’t be anyone unless you have your own drone. Just ask DHS.

DHS customized its Predator drones (originally military-tasked devices since refurbished) to attend to at-home surveillance tasks. You know, like keeping an eye on those pesky OWS people.

But that’s not the extent of it: DHS has rigged their drones to be able to identify whether civilians are carrying guns, as well as tracking their cell phones. 1

As tweaked by Atomics Aeronautical Systems, the drones are supposed to be “…capable of identifying a standing human being at night as likely armed or not“. 2 As well as identifying “signals interception” and “direction finding” technology. This would allow the drones to intercept the communications and pinpoint locations of both mobile phones and two-way radios.

The drones are also supposed to be unarmed. Their main use? Patroling the northern and southern borders of the U.S. But that doesn’t mean the craft haven’t been loaned out to the FBI, the Secret Service, the Texas Rangers, local police and other agencies. They have.

Hell, approximately 2/3 of the US population is subject to surveillance by these drones. Pretty soon, everyone will be on video… 3

  1. Which has worked out so well in war zones that we’ve got to have it here in America!
  2. That would be a long gun, one supposes, not a concealed handgun.
  3. Except the police, who don’t want to be on-camera. But don’t mine videoing everything everybody else does.

Us vs Us

The increasing deployment of iris scanners and biometric passports at worldwide airports, hotels and business headquarters, designed to catch terrorists and criminals, are playing havoc with operations that require CIA spies to travel under false identities.

“If you go to one of those countries under an alias, you can’t go again under another name,” explains a career spook, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he remains an agency consultant. ”So it’s a one-time thing — one and done. The biometric data on your passport, and maybe your iris, too, has been linked forever to whatever name was on your passport the first time. You can’t show up again under a different name with the same data.”
