You can’t make this shit up:

The law firm that said OMP has no financial ties to Russia “with a few exceptions” was recognized in 2016 as Russia law firm of the year.

In yet more you can’t make this shit up news, the House ReThugs apparently don’t understand how passing bills works…or doesn’t:

According to several aides and other procedural experts, if Republicans send the [American Health Care Act] bill to the Senate now and the CBO later concludes it doesn’t save at least $2 billion, it would doom the bill and Republicans would have to start their repeal effort all over with a new budget resolution. Congressional rules would likely prevent Republicans from fixing the bill after it’s in the Senate, the aides said.

…reluctant Republicans will once again be forced to decide whether to back it. Only this time, they would also be saddled with the CBO’s latest findings about the bill’s costs and impacts.

For those of you keeping score at home, the AHCA only passed by 2 votes; Chaffetz is set to leave in June and the MT-AL election is next week.

It’s a shame that no one ever seems to remember that the ReThug’s inability to actually govern, as much as their neo-Confederacy policies, is a fine reason to keep them out of office.
