Finally screened Mad Max: Fury Road last week. It was a hell of a ride with absolutely outstanding CGI. A literal ton of CGI, by the way. Enjoyed it immensely – best cartoon out this year.
In talking with a friend they mentioned that George Miller wanted to lens the movie in black and white with no dialogue. Which, if you think about it, makes a certain amount of sense – there was little dialogue in the movie proper, most of which could have easily been dispensed with.
Supposedly Miller produced a no-dialogue, B&W version…but there’s no evidence the below is it.
UPDATE: le sigh – that got pulled quick; fun while it lasted, though.
