Given there is much to agree with here, the following is interesting though – we’re hopeful – not predictive.
We’ve spent years obliquely touching on the same issue. And we’ve always stopped short of preaching violence, having in the past wrought more than we wished of it; no film, no matter how “immersive”, no matter how “realistic”, is as visceral as the moment. It cannot be. And so there is no way to explain. Except to say violence should always be the very last resort. 1
