It’s not that it’s unusual to hear the sentiment; indeed, on KC’s Most Sued Blog it is the de rigueur stance toward any post regarding Kansas City’s eastside crime statistics. And the prevalence of black-on-black crime has long been a conservative talking point. But it is disconcerting to hear a nationally renowned 2 Republican imply Ferguson would not have happened but for incessant black-on-black crime.
