That was fun! 1
Yesterday morning I heard a lawyer spew the following: 2
“Approximately 200 university liberals end up making a determination as to what America’s TV viewers will get to watch; this is exactly why the Tea Party was formed.
“This is un-American!
“Worse, these fuckin liberals are insulated from their mistakes, and, yes, the fuckin LSU-Alabama rematch is a fuckin mistake. And don’t tell me the fuckin university liberals don’t have their fuckin hands out to fuckin ESPN and the SEC – the SEC has been a grifting organization for decades! Who’s ever slapped their gawddamned hands (for taking money for votes) down there? No one, that’s who! Which means they’re more corrupt than Chicago politics! Fuck!”
I have to agree with him; the SEC is probably the most corrupt college conference around.
Also, the LSU-Alabama rematch is a mistake, if only from a monetary point of view. I expect a near 0% viewership west of the Mississippi for the game.
Finally, I have to disagree with the lawyer’s Chicago contention. It is well known that Tammany Hall was the most single corrupt organization in American history.
However it is a given the BCS sucks.
MID MORNING UPDATE: No…there’s still no one who cares enough about K-State do even a Rick-roll meme about it, much less go to the effort of editing a Hitler vid.
